Administrator

Don Dalicandro

Don has been Administrator at Alden Valley Ridge Rehabilitation and Health Care since May 2004. He has held various positions within the company since he came to Alden in November 1996, including Regional Director, Acting Administrator and Administrator at several facilities. Don has worked in the long-term care industry for nearly 40 years and has served as President of the Illinois Health Care Association and as Regional Vice President of the American Healthcare Association. Don has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Loyola University Chicago.

Director of Nursing

Nancy Evans, RN

Nancy Evans is the Acting Director of Nursing at Alden Valley Ridge. She came to Alden Valley Ridge in May 2004 as a floor nurse and has assisted the nursing department in a variety of capacities over the years. Nancy graduated from Lutheran Hospital School of Nursing with a bachelor's degree in Nursing. Nancy has been in the nusing field since 1986.

Admission Director

GiGi Guzman

GiGi has been the Admission Director at Alden Valley Ridge since June 2009. Before assuming her current position, she served as Activity Director at the rehabilitation center for four years. GiGi previously worked as a CNA and Unit Manager. She has worked at Alden Valley Ridge since May 2000.
